Mask Monday: Boots Tea Tree Witch Hazel with active Charcoal Face Mask

I've decided to start a new series on my blog called mask Monday where every couple of months or whenever I try a new face mask out I will review it and it will go up on a Monday, I just basically played with words and came up with mask Monday. 

So for my first one I'll be review the Boots Tea Tree Witch Hazel with Active Charcoal Face Mask. 

What they claim?

According to Boots "This intense deep cleanse facial mask contains antibacterial tea tree oil and skin calming witch hazel in conjunction with activated charcoal to keep your skin clear and healthy by:

• The power of charcoal removes dirt, sebum and impurities deep down in the pores
• Rebalances oil to leave skin clean and purified with a silky touch"

This is everything I want in a face mask.

Packaging 

It comes in a small 50ml tube, the plastic tube itself is like a grey charcoal colour with white and blue detailing.

Price

£3.59, which is a good price also perfect if you are student like me.

Before face mask

Formula

It's a thick formula but runny consistency, it applies evenly over the skin, the thin consistency is nice because it makes it easy to apply to the skin. There is a scent of course and that is witch hazel.

How to use it?

I take my makeup off, cleanse my skin then apply a thin layer of this mask all over my skin or even just to the patches I need unclogging. Leave on for about 10 minutes or until it has set.

Does it work?

It definitely cleans out the pores as when you take it off everything seems clean but i'm not sure if it gets right down in the pores and clean them out from there as it only seems clean from the top.

Overall Opinion

Overall it's a good face mask it does the job and it's great if your on a budget but there is others out there, but what they are trying to achieve is a good face mask and it does make you skin looking instantly cleaner.
