Real Technique Miracle Beauty Sponge Roundup

One week till Payday! Please pray for me! I don't know if it's just me but December and January I constantly feel like I have no money, anyway today's post is a roundup of the Real Techniques Miracle beauty sponges.

The main ones i'm going to be reviewing today are the complexion sponge, mini eraser and sculpting sponge.

My Thoughts
Foundation applied with sponge
Overall I feel like this sponge uses a lot of product compared to other beauty sponges, and another thing I noticed is you have to set you base down with a powder after using this sponge otherwise it moves about.

Mini Eraser:

What does it do?

'From flaking mascara to eye shadow fallout, these little miracles help sweep away your makeup mishaps. Flat edges: erase,  rounded sides: buff + blend, tip: targeted sweep, 6 ways to erase:
  • Sweep away undereye shadow fallout
  • Wipe away liner gone wrong
  • Pick up brow product fallout
  • Wipe away mascara smudges
  • Pick up over applied shadow
  • Blend away too much blush or highlighter'

Concealer applied with sponge
My Thoughts
Overall I found this one to be good and works very well with concealer, this one did notice a bit more spongey feeling compared to the other ones.

Sculpting Sponge:

What does it do?
'Designed to help create shadows or highlight your favorite facial features. Use damp for a dewy glow or dry for a full coverage finish

  • small side for precision highlighting
  • large side for controlled contouring
6 Surfaces to complete your sculpt.
  • replace every 1-3 months
  • latex-free'

My Thoughts
I thought this one would be perfect for cream highlighters so I tried three in my collection, It Cosmetics Hello Light, Colourpop Lunch Money and Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow. It cosmetics and Colourpop worked okay but did move the base around, Charlotte Tilbury worked very well, I think its because It and Colourpop are both cream so you have to dap the sponge in the pot then on the face whereas the Charlotte Tilbury one is a liquid where you place a tiny amount on the face then blend.

It Cosmetics Hello Light applied with sponge
Colourpop Lunch Money applied with sponge
Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow applied with sponge

Overall I like the concept of these sponges and I do think for the price they do a good job but I am still a fan of the Beauty Blender and Nanshy Marvel Blender.

There you have it my little roundup of them! What is your favourite beauty sponge?
Thank you for reading
