Happy Friday everyone! Today i'm going to be talking about the Taste makeup brushes from their holiday collection, I was in two minds whether to write this post as they are now hard to get hold of but then I thought majority of their brushes look similar to the main collection and it could help you get an idea of what I personally feel of the brushes.
In the set you receive 5 brushes 4 of them are double ended which in theory means your getting 9 brushes. I believe the set was around the £47 mark which for good quality brushes is a good price.
All the brushes are good quality and 100% cruelty free and vegan which a huge plus for me! These brushes wash like a dream there's no shedding or misshaped brushes after been washed. I feel each and every brush is versatile and can be used for more than one aspect of your face so perfect for travelling. The brushes themselves came a travel case which holds the brushes but also has a magnetic side for any pan products.
They are extremely soft brushes and don't scratch along your face when applying product like some brushes can.
The brushes you receive are:
- double ended eyeshadow brush: One side is the perfect blending/crease brush and the other side is great for packing on pigment/glitter
- Complexion brush: I love this brush for lighter watery products but also to blend out the ages of my foundation
- Double ended foundation brush: This brush is great for getting full coverage as it is a tightly compact brush and the other pointed side is great for around the nose and under the eye.
- Double ended cheek and highlighter brush: This brush has so much use great for blush, highlighter, bronzer and contour
- Double ended concealer brush: This brush is great for packaging concealer on spots and the other side is great for tidying up around the lips if you applied a bold lip colour.
Overall I couldn't rate these brushes enough and would highly recommend Tarte makeup brushes as they are sturdy but luxury feel brushes that do amazing jobs.
