Preparing For Results Day

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

So it's that time of year again when results day is approaching, your worrying your not going to meet the grades for whatever your next path is whether it's uni, college or getting a job. The truth is we've all been there, we've all worried about what answers we put, staying up all night because the thought of finding your results is making you too sick to sleep. So in this post I am going to give you some tips on what to preparing for results day.

  1. DON'T WORRY- yes this is a silly tip but really the more you think about it and think about the papers the more your going to worry that you have put the wrong answers, so this leads me to my tip 2

  2. DON'T THINK ABOUT IT- like I said above the more you think about it the more you will believe you haven't met your target grades

  3. KEEP YOURSELF ACTIVE- keeping yourself busy will keep your mind off your results, get yourself a part time job or find a new hobby which takes up your time

  4. DESTRESS- so results week is a very stressful time for most people, so leading up to getting your results you want to do whatever helps you as an individual to destress, this could be things like have a hot bubble bath with one of your favourite lush bath bombs (personal favourite of mine is the butterball), watching your current favourite Tv show I would definitely recommend Orange is the new black, Once Upon  A Time or something that I am very excited for is The British Bake Off (even though the series would of started by this post goes live, Wednesday 8pm BBC1  GMT), or it could even be listening to music, when i'm de-stressing I love listening to slow, relaxing music song artists like, Birdy, James Bay and Ed Sheeran are definitely a favourite then.

  5. HAVE A BACK UP PLAN-  So just say the worst happens and you don't meet the grades for whatever you want to do, so you need a back up plan, look at what else your good at or are interested in, do some research and then base your plan around that

  6. IT'S NOT THE END OF THE WORLD- so for my final tip, is not to stress or get ill over because yes I know people who got so stressed that it made them ill, and I was nearly one those people if it went on for another week, but as long as you know deep down that you've tried your absolute hardest and couldn't of done any better then it's not the end of the world, you can always resit or it might make you rethink on what you want to do and you might completely change your mind and it could be a good thing!

I know that everyone is going to panic at some stage about results but it's not always the end of the world, I also know there's a lot of pressure from friends and families to do well in your exams because the one thing families love to do is brag about their children doing well in exams, but sometimes it doesn't go to plan and that's when you turn to your backup plan.

At the end of the day what will be will be, just keep a positive mind and believe you have done the best you have and know it's enough, then everything will be fine!

I know exactly how your all feeling but keep positive!

I know this is a short post but I thought as we are approaching that time yet again! That it would be useful to share some of my tips, hope they helped!

Good Luck Everyone!!!!
