REVIEW- Ole Henriksen pure truth melting cleanser

Hello Everyone!

I have recently finished my pot of the Ole Henriksen pure truth melting cleanser and thought I would review the product.

So this product costs £24.00 for 118ml (weird amount), it isn't the most expensive cleanser but it certainly isn't the cheapest, on the plus side this cleanser does last a while it lasted me around 3/4 months and I used it every evening as my nighttime cleanser.  The packaging is in a sturdy plastic tub, which is perfect for travelling, also when you put the lid back on there's no chance of any leaks which is a bonus!
This cleanser claims to be a 3 in 1 cleanser, it is originally a gel that then transforms into an oil then emulsifies into a milk when water is added. The consistency of this product is a gel texture but in the pot looks like a balm/gel. This cleanser also claims to be able to melt impurities and makeup away, I do believe that it cleanses the skin but I would not use this cleanser to remove makeup because I felt you had to really rub around the eye area to remove mascara and even then it wouldn't remove it all, I use a micellar water first to remove the majority of my makeup and then use this cleanser as my second cleanser to deeply cleanse my skin which works better, I used this cleanser with my Clarisonic which helped to gently exfoliate the skin and was a brilliant combination, but you can still get a good cleanse just by removing with a flannel.

This cleanser does claim to have some benefits, they are:

  • Vitamin C: Brightens, supports natural collagen, and neutralizes free radicals.

  • Rose Hip Oil: Natural source of omega 3, 6, and 9; regenerates, repairs, and nourishes.

  • Virgin Cherry Oil: Rich in vitamins and antioxidants; reduces redness and hydrates.

The Vitamin C, Rose Hip and Virgin Cherry oils help to brighten, repair and nourish the skin, which I defiantly agree with, this product does't leave my skin feeling dry it feels plump but still feeling clean at the same time.

You can get this product from places like Feel Unique, LookFantstic , Debenhams and any other big department stores and is available internationally.
Overall I would recommend giving this cleanser a try, if you are looking for a new one. Would I repurchase it? No and it's not because I don't like the product it's because I like trying new cleansers and can never keep to the same one, but if I was ever given this again I would use it.
