Hotel Review | The Beaufort

Now i've been doing these hotel reviews for a while now after I stay in a new hotel, so I thought I would share where I stayed in London. As the title suggests, the hotel I stayed in was The Beaufort in Beaufort Gardens Knightsbridge. We found this hotel on Lastminute.com, love that website for London breaks!

What the hotel says about them:

I thought I would share what the hotel says about themselves, just so I can compare: 'Among the impressive townhouses of elegant Knightsbridge sits The Beaufort Hotel Knightsbridge – a charming, family-owned boutique hotel. Overlooking a leafy square, this hidden gem is moments away from some of the most exclusive shopping in London, including Harrods and Harvey Nichols. With its’ classic interiors, The Beaufort Hotel Knightsbridge offers a luxurious retreat and a warm welcome.
With a worldwide reputation, the Beaufort enjoys lavish facilities in a fashionable location at the heart of Knightsbridge. The hotel has exclusive shopping on its doorstep and is just 3 minutes’ walk from Knightsbridge London Underground station.
Rooms include marble shower rooms and Egyptian linen. Welcome trays with mineral water and chocolates are provided, along with bathrobes and luxury toiletries.
Fresh flowers and original English watercolour paintings decorate the airy rooms and suites. All rooms have full room service and free Wi-Fi. Guests can also enjoy marble bathrooms, quality carpets and soft easy chairs.
In the Italian-designed drawing room you can enjoy complimentary soft drinks, tea and coffee from the bar and a traditional English cream tea.'

Location:

The location is very good with good underground links, very close to Harrods and Harvey Nichols

The Room:

So each room is different, which I personally think is a nice touch! Our room was a good size, it included a safe etc which I love having! The bathroom was a great size with a bath and shower which I like the options.

My Opinion:

Moving onto my opinion then, the hotel was very clean and tidy but there's not much connection between staff and customers as there's no breakfast room etc it's all sent to your room. Breakfast was nice, the only thing with being sent to your room was there wasn't anywhere to eat the breakfast other than bed! The only downside was the room was so cold, we couldn't get the fan to increase or decrease temperature so just something to bare in mind in colder months! You get complimentary afternoon tea and soft drinks which is amazing and a lovely touch! Side note to order breakfast you get a little sheet which you tick boxes etc, hang it on your door with the time of delivery then bang on that time you'll receive your breakfast. You get free wifi (Bonus) and also there's White Company products in the bathroom.

Overall it was a lovely hotel and everything but I don't think I would stay there again purely down to the fact I like to get up then go down for breakfast, I felt less motivated to get up when it get's brought to your room. But for the price we paid I shouldn't really complain.

Thank you for reading
