I promise I won't ramble on this one! Day 2 today we headed down to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine hill and Villa Borghese Gardens, let's just say we did a lot of walking! We headed out but once we did the Colosseum it lashed it down, so before going to the Roam Forum we headed back to the hotel and got change, thank god it brightened up in the afternoon! Just a quick mention we bought out tickets in advance for the Colosseum, Roman forum and Palatine Hill, which made life so much easier. Villa Borghese Gardens is a must and it's free! That night we headed to Piazza Navona for food.
