Urban Decay Basics 2

Palette Posts and swatches go down really well on my blog so I am back with the Urban Decay Basics 2.

The original basics is more warm tones whereas basics 2 is more cool tones. I received the naked basics 2 as a Christmas present when it was first released and I was looking through my makeup for inspiration on posts and thought I would review it so let's begin!

Like stated above this the 2nd which is the cool tones, there is 6 shades, all mattes!
The palette is very small perfect, huge mirror which is perfect for travelling! Actually this is my travelling palette and I love it!

My favourite shades are Skimp and Stark which are very neutral skin tone shades perfect for no makeup, makeup days! Just like all Urban decay eyeshadows they are very pigmented, smooth/buttery, easy blend and just amazing quality in general.

You can do all sorts of looks using this palette from just simple every day looks to evening smoky looks, so that's the reason this is my travelling palette. You can even use one of the browns or black as an eyebrow powder, the colour I use is Primal.

Skimp- is a cool white/pearl colour great for highlighting
Stark- is a neutral skin tone nude
Frisk: Taupe colour perfect for the crease
Cover: is a warm brown
Primal: is a cool brown
Undone: is a cool grey/black

If you like cool tone eyeshadows, then check this one out! Retails for £23.00

What's you favourite urban decay product?

Thank you for reading
