Review: L'oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Water

Happy Sunday!

Micellar Waters have been such a hyped up product over the last year, with nearly every brand bringing them out. If you haven't already seen a couple of months back I compared all of micellar water's from Garniers range, so I thought I would carry on the series!

So recently I have been trying out the L'oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Water and here's my thoughts. Firstly you can purchase this solution from any beauty store I got mine from Boots and it retails for £4.99 for 200ml, which is the average retail price for affordable micellar waters.

Just like every micellar water and this one is no different, it works by pouring a bit of the solution onto a cotton pad and wiping all over your face removing all trace of makeup.

It claims to remove all traces of make-up and impurities with no need to rub or rinse. Personally I have noticed that I do have to rub around the eye area to remove my mascara (I don't wear waterproof).

It also claims to be delicate on the skin and to soothe the most sensitive of skins. Personally I disagree on that it does leave my skin feeling a tiny bit dry afterwards. But I will say it does remove all trace of makeup ready for when I do my second cleanse using a proper cleanser.

It says it is suitable for sensitive skin and contains no alcohol and no perfume.

The ingredients are:

  • Aqua/water

  • Hexylene Glycol

  • Glycerin

  • Poloxamer 184

  • Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate

  • Disodium EDTA

  • Polyaminopropyl Biguanide

Would I be repurchasing this product?

And unfortunately no! The reason being is I am currently starting to remove/use up products which come from brands who test on animals and unfortunately L'oreal do test on animals still in China because it is required by law. I don't want to ramble to much about why and the brands I will be saying bye to in this post but I will be doing a dedicated post when all the products have been removed/used up.

I do want to stress one thing! My content will still be the same and there are still a load of beauty brands that don't and which I can't wait to review on here for you, but there is more about this subject to come!

Thanks for reading

Love
Hannah
