So as Halloween is approaching i've looking out for different halloween costume ideas, which are not like your typical witch, wizard etc, and this is what I found:
As Orange is the New Black as been huge this year one of the trends would be to go as:
Morello
What to wear: If you don't have brown hair buy a brown curled wig, draw on sharp eyebrows, bright red lip and grey dull clothes.
I've never watched American Horror Story as it's not my thing but if you do i've seen a lot of costume ideas surrounding characters from it, so you could pick your favourite character and goes as that.
Again from another TV series that has been big this year Game Of Thrones, just go as favourite character , this would be a good option for lads.
I personally think you can never go wrong with Woody and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story, it doesn't matter how old the films get, they are such a fun and different. Brilliant if your going as a pair.
If you really want to go as something scary (well this might not be scary for some people but is for me) and it is Chucky, I think you could get really creative with makeup, Pixiwoo do a brilliant tutorial.
You could always go as a Disney princess (me and the girls from work did this one last year and it was great) but this year as Frozen has been big lately you could always go as Elsa which would be great if you are girly.
This year I've noticed most of the trends are from most of the Tv/film series that have been big, but still got the good old classics from superhero's to Harry Potter characters to the classic halloween costumes. If you want to get creative with your makeup I would definitely recommend checking out Pixiwoo's channel because they do some great tutorials on different halloween looks.
