Skincare Sunday | Pixi Lash Nourish Eye Makeup Remover

Happy Sunday everyone hasn't the weather here in the UK been beautiful? For today's Skincare Sunday post i'm going to reviewing the Pixi lash nourish eye makeup remover pads, so let's get on with it!

What do they claim?
This is what Pixi claim about these pads "Enriched with a precious, make up-melting blend of argan, panthenol and castor oils – to effortlessly dissolve even stubborn mascara and stay-fast liner without compromising hair health – these gentle pads respect your fragile lashes and leave them soft, supple and glossy. Aloe vera and glycerin then soothe and hydrate the delicate eye area. An absolute boon for all those who prize sleep over face-cleaning!"

Price:
£10 for 80 pads

Where to buy?
Cult beauty, M&S, Pixi online, Look Fantastic, John Lewis, Selfridges

Packaging:
They come in a small white plastic pot, with a green wrap around the pot with writing on. Perfect for travelling.

Overall Opinion:
Okay so firstly it is a very small pot which in theory is great for travelling/throwing in your handbag, the pads are pre- soaked. before I started using the pads and I went to open them it does have a foil seal which is greta for keeping the pads 'wet' and the pads don't try out over time. The pads are smooth the scent I could really get from them was like a play dough smell but nothing over powering.
Okay so for the price you get 80 pads which you think isn't bad but the pads are small and I used three pads a night and that was on light makeup days too! So in actual fact I ran out of these pads pretty quickly and because of that it would turn into a pretty pricey makeup remover which in theory you had to really rub at your eyes to get tough eye makeup off too, it's just too much effort. I also wouldn't agree with what they claim as you have to rub to get the mascara off which isn't what i'm after.

So because of this I wouldn't recommend these as I want something that does it for me especially when I work late nights! They are not awful and there's nothing wrong with them you just have to put the effort in so if you are lazy like me these are not for you.

I hoped you enjoyed this post and i'll see you again soon!
Thank you for reading
