Boots Tea Tree, Witch Hazel Night Treatment Gel

Finding the perfect night cream can be a challenge and one that i'm on!
I've got a list of all the night cream I want to try to find my perfect one, i've got it in price order (low to high) so let's see if this one from Boots is the one!

What does it claim?
Boots claim that this product: Helps fight spots, bacteria, lightly moisturises your skin without blocking the pores.

£2.99 for 75ml

Like all the other boots tea tree range, it comes in a clear plastic tube with the typical branding.

Aqua (Water), Butylene glycol, Alcohol, Polysorbate 20, Dimethicone,
PEG-7 glyceryl cocoate, Hamamelis virginiana (Witch hazel) distillate,
Phenoxyethanol, Carbomer, Methylparaben,
Melaleuca alternifolia (Tea tree) leaf oil, Dimethiconol, Parfum (Fragrance),
Potassium hydroxide, Hexyl cinnamal, Tetrasodium EDTA, Limonene,
Styrene/acrylates copolymer, Alpha-isomethyl ionone, Linalool,
CI 61570 (Green 5), CI 19140 (Yellow 5)

How to use
I use this in the evening, as the last step in my night time skincare routine.

It's a thick gel consistency, it's like applying a mask. It is very runny and again has a very strong powering smell of tea tree.

Overall opinion
The truth is it did nothing for my skin my spots are the same, if anything my pores look more blocked from using this. My skin felt dehydrated, and it was like I just applied a mask and took forever to sink into the skin, you would think taking ages to sink into the skin that it would leave your skin feeling hydrated..nope just dehydrated. Wouldn't recommend this product.

Have you tried this product? Any night cream recommendations?

  1. My mum used to always buy me this and it never did anything for me. I'm pretty sure I still have some of this in my bedroom draw! 😂😂😂

    1. I wish it could do it but it was awful, you've got to laugh at the fact of trying!
