Vienna Trip: Hotel Review on Hotel Am Konzerthaus Vienna MGallery by Sofitel

This is the last post in my three part Vienna trip posts, for my last post I thought I would do a review on the hotel we stayed in as the last two i've done have gone down really well.

On a quick note we booked our trip with Thomas cook city escapes but through a travel agents, but next time we do a city break like this again I would book it myself which I'll explain more later on in the post.

The hotel we stayed at was Hotel Am Konzerthaus Vienna MGallery by Sofitel which is a four star hotel and we stayed there for 2 nights.

Check in was all good and quick/simple. They kindly asked which floor we would like to be on etc which made a nice touch, as I don't like staying on the ground floor.

Our room was large and spacious, clean and tidy- couldn't really complain! As you can see below I have inserted the room photo's in.

Even though the hotel was super itself and the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming there was a few downsides to this hotel.
First one being breakfast, their restaurant is small which means if they are full you have to rush for a table at breakfast, unfortunately this happened to us on both mornings we went down for breakfast and the night before a coach arrived full of tourists like us which meant breakfast time was manic!!
The other downside was there wasn't much variety in my opinion especially if you are vegetarian!

The second downside which is why I would book a city break by myself next time is because we were a tiny bit far out, which was fine in the morning but at night when your legs are killing it wasn't good! My arthritis definitely kicked in! I would say we were about 5 minutes out of the main ring which is where we wanted to be.

Overall this is a lovely hotel, would recommend if you've been to Vienna before and know your way round unlike someone who has never been!

Thank you for reading
Love
