Review: Elf Hydrating Gel Melt Cleanser

If you never saw my post of my Elf haul then check it out here

, this was one of the products so I thought I would do an in-depth review.

When I saw Elf doing skincare products as I was very interested because most people just know them as an affordable makeup brand which is also cruelty free (bonus!). Out of all their skincare products this was one I had to try as I love a good cleanser, so if you want to hear what my thoughts are then keep reading!

Packaging/Price:
For this cleanser it costs £12.50 so affordable and for that you get 40g. The packaging feels luxury as it comes in this heavy blue tub.

What does it claim?
"This gentle, hydrating formula melts on contact transforming from a gel to creamy oil that helps dissolve makeup and cleanse the skin. Formulated with Purified Water and infused with nourishing Argan Oil, Rose Extracts, and Rose Seed Oils to help moisturize the skin. It's also rich in antioxidant Vitamin C." (source here)

How to use it?
Get a pea size amount and gently massage into the skin, add water and work into a lather, wash off and pat dry.

My Opinion
This product is good, it removes makeup and impurities well BUT I personally went through this product quickly it lasted me only a month compared to my Liz Earl hot cloth (review here) which lasted me 6 months!! I wasn't overly impressed for it to run out that quickly and repurchase it knowing it wouldn't last. If I was like WOW then I would put up with it running out quickly, it also didn't do amazing things to my skin, yes it cleansed it well and removed everything but there are cleansers out there which do that and still last longer.

Would I repurchase?
To be honest... no I wouldn't repurchase this cleanser because of a few reasons 1. it takes a while to arrive, 2 it runs out quickly and lastly it didn't wow me/do amazing things to my skin.
