New in Urban Decay: Summer Collection & Alice Through The Looking Glass range

It's that time of the year when brands start releasing new collections and my favourite brand have released two new collections. Urban Decay have released their summer collection and have brought out another Disney collaboration for the new movie Alice Through The Looking Glass.

Summer Collection
Let's start with their summer collection, there's 5 pieces to this collection (correct me if i'm wrong),
their is a foundation, 2 highlighters, a bronzer, a nude eyeliner and a pinky/shimmery eyeliner.

I only have the foundation but I really want the nude eyeliner.

Urban Decay Naked Skin One and Done Hybrid Complexion Cream:
There's 6 shades to the foundation: light, light medium, medium, medium dark, dark and deep. The shade I have is light.

Urban decay state: 'that it's one step and you're done, it claims to instantly blur imperfections and even out skin tone- for beautifully perfected and ultra definition skin.' Now that is a big statement!

This is what the foundation
 looks like on the skin
This one and done cream combines the benefits of a sheer foundation but with the coverage of a tinted moisturiser.  Apparently according to Urban Decay there is new technology in this cream and it has light diffusing spheres which help make flaws seem to disappear. Urban Decay also claim that over time, pores appear smaller and that skin looks firmer and more radiant.

What I love about this product is that it has a lot of nourishing ingredients i.e peptides, vitamins wu zhu yu plant which improves the look of radiance, tone and texture. Also this product has an spf of 20!

I love the packaging it comes in a sleek, metallic tube which is champagne and gunmetal ombre.  But it get's even better it comes with a pump! You get 40ml of product for £25.00.

The way I apply this is either with a buffing brush or my beauty blender and it gives a flawless coverage, it also lasts well throughout the day.

Alice Through The Looking Glass collection

Now this was the collection I was most excited about because i'm a huge Disney fan. In this collection there is an eyeshadow palette which looks amazing and costs £45 but there is also 5 lipsticks which cost £16.00.
I have one of lipsticks I have the shade Alice which is the less the out there colour.
The five lipsticks are named of course after the characters in the film, there is:

  • Alice- a sheer nude
  • Mad Hatter- bright purple
  • Mirana (the white Queen)- deep plum purple
  • Iracebeth (the red Queen)- Red
  • Time- metallic blue
The lipstick case is beautiful, it features a colourful kaleidoscopic pattern which is inspired by the film. The pigmentation of the lipsticks is incredible.
