Is it worth it? Clarisonic Mia

So carrying on with the is it worth it series, I thought today I would review the Clarisonic Mia, yes I am aware I have the oldest one but it still does the job and is still like brand new, so i've never felt the need to go and purchase the newest one.

Firstly the clarisonic mia costs £99.00, and the colour mine is in is aqua. I purchased mine on black Friday about 3 years go on Debenhams. Clarisonic have got so many different lines, and also they have different brush heads for your skin type which I think is amazing.

This is what Clarisonic state it is: "The Clarisonic Mia Sonic Skin Cleansing System uses a patented sonic frequency of more than 300 movements per second to clean, soften and smooth skin. In just 60 seconds, the action removes  more makeup and more dirt and sebum than cleansing with your hands alone. Removing more dirt and sebum from your pores also helps prepare for a better skin care regime."

Benefits & features highlights:
- Removes more makeup than manual cleansing
- Helps to prepare the skin for your usual skin care regime
- Leaves skin feeling smoother and healthier
- Tightens the appearance of visible pores
- Helps remove sebum
- Helps to improve the appearance of skin tone and texture
- Gentle cleansing process which can be used up to twice a day for 1 min each time
- Rechargeable
- Waterproof

My Review:

I know people who are on the fence about the device but I LOVE IT. I don't feel like my skin is fully cleansed when I don't use this device. I have sensitive skin and this doesn't cause it flare up, it gently exfoliates without being harsh. I did a test and stopped using it for a couple of months and my skin just didn't feel right, my makeup just didn't apply properly, my skin had a lot of texture and I put that down to not getting exfoliated which removes dead skin cells. Once I noticed that I went straight back onto using it and my skin went back to normal, healthy looking. The only downside is it takes 16 hours to charge, but it does last me a week or two so I usually put it on charge Saturday morning, because I usually work late on Saturdays, so I don't have the time (me being lazy it only takes 30 seconds) to use it, doing it this way means it's ready for use on Sunday evening. I should also point out I only use it in the evenings and that I use it with any type of cleanser from creams, oils and balms, it works a dream with them all.

With the Mia there is only one setting whereas the mia 2 has a few other setting depending on what sort of cleanse you want but that costs £125, personally the one setting on the original mia is just fine for me. Also I know other companies are coming out with these face brushes I know recently Clinique, Olay, No7 and many more but personally my favourite is the original brand and that's Clarisonic.

Hope this helped! I would love to know what you think of the clarisonic or what your favourite face brush is!

Thanks for reading!

Love
