Haul/First Impressions: Kiko and H&M Beauty

Happy Sunday and Happy Mother's day (well if your in the UK) if your reading this when it goes up, hope you had a wonderful day!

If you don't follow me on Twitter or Instagram you might not be aware that I was recently in Cardiff watching the rugby, so I took the opportunity to pick up a few things that I couldn't get back home.

First of all Kiko: Yes I know you can buy kiko online but personally I like going into the store and looking at everything in person. The only time I do purchase a beauty item online is when it's out of stock in store and I NEED IT. The Kiko store in Cardiff wasn't very big and actually was quite poorly stocked but of course I found a few things, the two items I purchased were:
Kiko dark circle concealer: The shade I got was 01 porcelain, firstly this is a very orange based concealer, so the way I use it is underneath my foundation, I have tried it on top of foundation but it just makes my eye area look orange (not a good look). My first impression of this concealer is that it does what it needs to do. It's very creamy but I would say make sure your eye area isn't dry because it does show any dry patches and can sit in lines if not hydrated. The packaging I LOVE its like a mini bottle of foundation with a pump so practical. This product costs £8.90. What I could see in store and online is that it has a good range of colours which is always a bonus.
The second product I  got from Kiko was Velvet Mat Satin lipstick in the shade 613. I am going to admit the reason I bought this lipstick was totally down to the packaging. There is a good colour range and they retail for £6.90 which is pretty good for a lipstick. Onto the actual product I really wanted to love this product as it is the perfect shade for me but I just didn't get on well with it, it felt weird on my lips and didn't last long which you think would being a mat lipstick, don't get me wrong these lipsticks are mat! The way I have to wear this lipstick is with a load of lip balm underneath and a gloss over the top because it feels horrible when it's on but I love the packaging that much I force myself to use it.

Moving onto H&M beauty, by the time we got in their we didn't have much time before we needed to get changed ready for the game so I ran in and picked up product's i've heard people talk about, so I got:

Pure Velvet Cream blush in the shade sunny peach, I love this blush it's a beautiful pinky/coral colour with a hint of shimmer, think that's what drawn me in was the hint of shimmer because I thought for the days I don't want an intense highlight this would do. They did an incredible colour range and they retail for £6.99.

The second product I purchased was the high impact eye colour in the shade russet rose. Again I love this product it's a beautiful burnt orange/brown shade perfect all over the lid when you just need something. They blend beautifully, so creamy and the colour pay off is just wow for £4.99. I definitely recommend H&M's beauty range and can't wait to try some more.

What do you recommend from H&M and Kiko?

Thank's for reading!
