Valentines/Date night makeup look

Struggling what makeup look to do for Valentines or even just a date night? Keeping reading!

My one tip before I start going through the look above, is to keep it simple and that's certainly what i've done!

So as you can see above, i've gone for a full coverage but still glowly/natural look.

Here's the process:

  1. Firstly I did my skincare routine; Soap and Glory Face Soap and clarity vitamin C face wash, Liz Earle Instant Skin tonic, Botanics Radiance Balm, Olay 2 in 1 hydration and glow (Review here)

2. I start to apply my foundation (I don't use a primer as I haven't found one that I like and is cruelty free, please leave any suggestions). The foundation I used was the Soap and Glory One Heck of a blot foundation (Review coming soon) and I applied it with the Zoeva 102 silk finish brush (LOVE these brushes).

3. I then went in with the helen E Cover it concealer, on any places where I feel I need something extra.

4. Then it was time to give my skin some life by adding bronzer, another soap and glory product (no this isn't sponsored, they just do really good products and cruelty free) and it is the SolarPowder bronzer, applied with a Wilko powder brush (these are so good for the price).

5. Now some colour, to keep with the dewy/natural look I went for a cream blush. Nyx Rouge cream blush in rose petal, I applied it with a real techniques expert face brush.

6. The Glow! I used The balm Cindy-Lou Manizer (BEAUTIFUL) and applied it with a Spectrum A10 brush (any fan brush would do)

7. Eyebrows! I've started using the Freedom eyebrow pomade in the shade blonde and I am actually impressed!

8. Eyes: For the eyes the new Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Palette was used. First I used Zone which is a warm brown in the crease using another spectrum brush C05, this is a lovely fluffy brush. I then packed Steady which is a mixture of a peachy/gold shade with shimmer in it, I packed this shade all over the lid to give some colour, used a Nanshy large shader brush. Then to blend the colours together I used MAC 217.

9. I then curled my eyelashes using the Shu umera eye lash curlers, then went in with Guerlain Maxi Lash mascara.

10. For lips I used a Helen E lip liner in shade 5 then went for another Urban decay product Gwen Stefani lipstick in Ex Girlfriend.

11. To finish off the look I set it with the NYX dewy finishing spray.

For the hair I sprayed in Batiste Heat and shine spray (Review here) and then curled my hair using the GHD curve curling wand, to give my hair some natural romantic waves.

Hope this gave you some inspiration!

Thanks for reading!

Love
Hannah
