Xmas Party Look

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

So Christmas is around the corner and what a better time to do a party look and share with you my go to look for a Christmas party!

I have recently had my uni Christmas party and this is what I wore, so let's have a little look.

Firstly like any party, I take  a shower before I go, which is when I wash my hair and at the moment I am using the Alberto Balsam Coconut and Lychee shampoo and conditioner and radox shower gel in basil and grapefruit (smells amazing!)

After I get out of the shower I cleanse my skin and at the moment I am using the Lush let the good time roll cleanser (not a big fan but more to come on that later). And at this point I also brush my teeth.

Moving onto the rest of my skincare where I used Serozinc (review here) and a moisturiser for Liz earle. I also moisturiser my body with the Sanctuary spa body butter.

Moving onto the fun bit which is makeup:

  1. Primer- currently using Maybelline baby skin in warm apricot

  2. Foundation- Max factor Face finity all day flawless 3 in 1 (review here)

  3. Concealer- Helen E cover it and Barry M Light reflecting

  4. Contour- Maybelline Master Sculpt

  5. Bronzer- The body shop honey bronzer

  6. Blusher- Clinique fresh bloom allover colour in 11 peony blend

  7. Highlighter- The blam cindy-lou manizer

  8. Eyebrows- mac coquette and soap and glory archery

  9. Eyeshadow- Soap and glory lid stuff in what's nude. I used Pink T all over the lid, aubersheen on the outer corner, mudhoney in the crease and vanilla underneath my eyebrow and in the corners of my eyes.

  10. Mascara- Guerlain maxi lash

  11. Lips- lip liner by mac in soar and lipstick by mac again in mehr

  12. Lastly setting spray- Nyx dewy finish setting spray

For my hair I curled it using the Lee stafford wave and nourish curling wang which gives beautiful beachy waves. It's my go to curling wand. But before I curled after I dried my hair I sprayed some of the Batiste heat and shine spray which is basically a dry version of heat protector (review here).

For my outfit:

I decided to go for a faux leather look trousers ( New look) and a glittery top (Primark), which I paired with a pair of strappy heels (Debenhams)  and silver clutch bag (Accessorize).

Hope this gives you some inspiration and enjoy the festive season!
