The Body Shop Drops Of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask Review

Today I have for you a review that is probably a bit late! Back at the start of the year The body shop brought out the drops of youth range and the one I was keen to try was the bouncy sleeping mask. Now I know what your going to be thinking why would a girl of 19 be buying anti aging products well the truth is I was just curious about this product.

So obviously the only place you can purchase this product is from The Body Shopitself and it is
priced at £24.00 and which you get 90ml, so not a lot of product for the price but you do only need a small amount, I bought mine in March and I still haven't used it up and I use it every night.

Okay so this product is designed to be left on overnight and when you wake you up it will make your skin look bouncier and replenished. As the name suggests it has a very bouncy texture in the pot, you get a little spatula (which comes with it) and you get a small amount and massage into the skin and let it do it's work.

Ingredients:

  • Aqua/Water (Solvent),

  • Propanediol (Viscosity Modifier),

  • Glycerin (Humectant),

  • Dimethicone (Skin Conditioning Agent),

  • Helianthus Annuus Hybrid Oil (Emollient),

  • Polysorbate 20 (Emulsifier),

  • Diheptyl Succinate (Skin Conditioning Agent - Emollient),

  • Acrylates/Beheneth-25 Methacrylate Copolymer (Viscosity Controlling Agent),

  • Phenoxyethanol (Preservative),

  • Tocopheryl Acetate (Antioxidant),

  • Orbignya Oleifera Seed Oil (Emollient),

  • Benzyl Alcohol (Preservative),

  • Caprylhydroxamic Acid (Chelating Agent),

  • Sodium Hyaluronate (Humectant),

  • Sodium Hydroxide (pH Adjuster),

  • Parfum/Fragrance (Fragrance),

  • Disodium EDTA (Chelating Agent),

  • Adenosine (Skin-Conditioning Agent),

  • Caffeine (Skin Conditioning Agent),

  • Capryloyl Glycerin/Sebacic Acid Copolymer (Film Former),

  • Linalool (Fragrance Ingredient),

  • Citronellol (Fragrance Ingredient),

  • Leontopodium Alpinum Meristem Cell Culture (Skin Conditioning Agent),

  • Limonene (Fragrance Ingredient),

  • Citric Acid (pH Adjuster),

  • Xanthan Gum (Viscosity Modifier).

The packaging is a green what feels like glass but is just heavy plastic pot with a white lid and white writing. I do like the packaging I think it feels and looks luxurious.

Personally though I haven't seen any improvements to my skin it doesn't feel any more plumped/replenished than it usually does. Maybe it's because I haven't got very mature skin but this range is designed for people who haven't really reached it yet but still want to protect their skin. So overall I won't be repurchasing this product again even though I do love the concept.

Thanks for reading

Love
Hannah
