Fashion Investment: Slim Pocket Coat Topshop

Okay so i'm back with another fashion investment post! So as the weather has been changing i've been looking for my perfect winter coat and guess what!? I've found it!

So I have had my eye on this coat since September but put off buying it just incase I see something else and well after searching every shop there was no coat that I loved more than this one, so of course off I went and purchased it and worn it every day since. And the coat is the slim pocket coat from Topshop, it is £59.00 but totally worth it for a coat which will see me all the way through the colder months. First of all I do just want to point out that my coat is in petite because the normal size was a little too long on me but if you are the opposite to me, being tall then you can get this coat in tall, which is a bonus.

They do this coat in 3 colours grey, camel, black and a dark green colour. The colour I went for one grey as I felt like it goes better with the type of colours I wear but I do like the green colour just wasn't brave enough to buy it!

So the coat is like a boyfriend style but a little bit slimmer/fitted which I think can either look casual or smart depending on what you are wearing it with. I wear this coat with everything and I mean everything! I love pairing this coat with cute boots and dresses but I also wear it for uni with a pair of jeans and jumper and it still looks amazing either way! It is also very warm which is a bonus as some coats that look amazing aren't very warm. You can zip this coat up if you want to but I prefer just to leave it open and wrap up even more with a scarf, as zipping coats up tend to bury me and make me look like a box (not a good look).

And here is the coat!

If you are looking for a new winter coat then I would definitely recommend checking out Topshop because they have definitely covered the coat front.

Thanks for reading!
