Fashion Investment- Knee High Boots

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

So for today's blogpost I would recommend a fashion piece that it is worth investing in, and it is knee high boots. Knee high boots are my go to shoe in the Autumn/Winter months, they going with practically everything from jeans and a jumper to a skirt/dress.

The pair that I have just invested in are a pair from Miss Kurt Geiger which is one of Kurt Geiger's ranges, and the boot that I got were the Wing black knee length boot by Miss Kurt Geiger. I ordered mine from the website Shoeaholic which is operated by Kurt Geiger, the boots should of cost £120.00 but they we're reduced to £49.00, if your new to the website then you can sign up to their newsletters to get an additional 15% off but if you are a student and got the UNIDAYS app then they have a code for 20% (which is what I used).  The shoes only took 3 days to get to me, and are sent through a courier which means you can track where your order is at, there is also free returns as long as the shoes haven't been used which is good for an online company.

Moving onto the boots themselves, they are real leather which is what you expect from Kurt Geiger, but also the lining inside the boot is like a wool material which is going to be brilliant for the colder months, they have a zip at the back of the boot which has given me a few cuts at the back of my ankle which I expected to happen while I break the boots in, but all in all these boots are comfy to wear and true to their sizes, I got a size 5 , sometimes with boots I do have to go for a bigger size but not with these ones they fit me like a dream.

These boots go with everything, from a casual outfit like jeans and a jumper to a more dressy outfit such as a dress or skirt, I love knee high boots I think they are a staple in the colder months and these recent boots are definitely going to be the boot I reach for throughout the winter.

I definitely think a good pair of boots for the winter is worth investing in because you will constantly wear them and they are not the sort of thing to go out of fashion, so when your next looking for your new winter boot, then just add up how many times you will have to buy the cheaper ones compared to the ones you have to pay a little bit more for.

Hopes this helped! I'll leave the link for boots below, happy Saturday!
